The 2009 DAIMUN which lasted for 4 days, 19th to the 20th of December was an elaborately planned and enormously successful affair. The items on agenda were carefully picked after in-depth research and going through various feasibility studies. In DAIMUN each participant is confronted with real-life situations faced by the world that needs to be debated at the United Nations. Through DAIMUN, awareness on global issues can be created along with the development of debating and diplomatic skills.

In an interview to editor-in-chief of Indian Express, Shekhar Gupta, Ms. Ambani said that she is an obsessed mother now with all her time devoted to cricket. She admitted that IPL is like a dream run for her and this association has consumed all of her attention to the point that she ate, slept and breathed only cricket during the season. Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation presents SSC merit rewards every year to top three meritorious students and one physically challenged students in Gujarat, and Union Territory of Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. It is much harder to do, when in fact go the supermarket business - if you have a calculator around you and add to each individual item.
